The last week of January was a busy one for the ADMIN team, especially for Mark Heisler and National Sales Manager, Greg Verna who attended the 2020 NTSA Summit in Denver, Colorado.

The National Tax-Deferred Savings Association (NTSA) is the industry association dedicated to the 403(b) and 457(b) retirement markets. This year, the NTSA offered educational workshops on a variety of technical plan compliance topics as well as business building sessions for financial advisors working in the 403(b) and 457(b) space.  As a valued partner of the NTSA, ADMIN’s, CEO, Mark Heisler presented a breakout session for attendees on “3 C’s of 457 Plans: The Characteristics, Comparisons and Common Mistakes.”

Mark also took part in a panel discussion “Reaching New Heights in the Non-Profit Market” which focused on the opportunities available for financial advisors to support sponsors and participants in the tax-exempt space. The session discussed key results drawn from the Plan Sponsor Council of America’s 403(b) Plan Sponsor Survey including: fiduciary liability, increasing participation, education, financial wellness and plan costs. Mark was joined on the panel by NTSA President Kris Coffey, Scott Hayes, CEO of the ISC Group and Jack Towarnicky of the Plan Sponsor Council of America.

Along with attending general and breakout sessions, Sales Manager, Greg Verna met with existing partners of ADMIN and created new relationships with many advisors from all over the country.
