Last month our National Sales Manager, Greg Verna spent a few days networking with financial advisors at the NAPA (National Association of Plan Advisors) 401(k) Summit Conference in San Diego, CA. This conference held over two thousand financial professionals that deal mainly in the 401(k) market. If you follow ADMIN Partners, you would know that we only work with a select group of employers. Non-profits, Public Schools, Churches and Local Governments; and we administer the plans that are eligible for those group of employers.
After talking with Greg about his trip we wanted to share a few of his takeaways…
As a Third Party Administrator, Being able to provide a narrative that is very different from the 401(k) world was both challenging and rewarding. We are a niche firm and provide solutions for Plan Sponsors, Record Keepers and plan advisors when it comes to retirement plans that have unmappable assets. To elaborate, ADMIN specializes in 403(b) Plan Administration. We are talking about multi-vendor retirement plans. When talking with advisors about a plan that has individual contracts where the assets cannot move from one vendor to another, they tend to shy away from these opportunities. With ADMIN’s technology and understanding of the market, we have the capability to police those legacy assets to ensure the plan maintains its compliance. If you are an advisor that is looking into the Tax Exempt and Government space, please feel free to utilize ADMIN Partners as a resource. The NAPA Conference was a great opportunity that allowed ADMIN Partners to gain additional relationships, network, and learn more about the issues and potential updates that may be coming with SECURE 2.0. We think it’s safe to say that Greg will be adding this conference to his calendar for years to come!
